1. Use the AVON Products
One of the best ways to sell a product is to know everything about it. The discount you get on your products together with demonstration products allow you to save money and try the products yourself first.
2. Get Reviews from Your AVON Customers
Ask your customers for feedback on the AVON products. This is a great way for you to learn about the products so that you can offer more information to other customers.
3. Share your AVON Products.
If you work in a shop or office, make sure you have hand lotion to share with your co-workers. Many AVON Reps have received several orders just by letting others try the lotion sitting on their desks. Keep extra tubes of hand cream for immediate sales.
4. Take Advantage of the AVON Training.
As an AVON Rep you have access to the Training sections on the AVON website.

8. Invest in Professional Looking Business Cards.
Make sure your business cards look professional, even if you buy from a discount supplier, eg VistaPrint. Include a customer reward program on the reverse side. You could get them to fill the reward card in and either give them a discount on their next order or give them a free gift.
9. Share your Business Cards.
Leave one with the tip for your waiter, hang them on village notice boards or shop windows, give to shop assistants when paying for goods..;. there is a saying - "be a snail leave a trail" - so leave your cards everywhere you go.
10. Order Plenty of Brochures.
Brochures are really your "shop." They are designed brilliantly - they are eyecatching, colorful and great value for money. The photos are very clear and often show how the makeup looks on a real person. In every campaign brochure, AVON includes their famous scratch-and-sniff perfume circles.
11. Keep brochures handy.
Always carry the latest brochure in your bag. If you are stood in a queue at a bus stop or shop get the brochure out and read it so that people can see what it is. You might be surprised how many people ask you where you buy your AVON from!
12. Buy Stickers for the Backs of Brochures.
You can get stickers that match your business cards and large print makes them easy to read. Stickers should include your name, phone number, email address, and website address. Brochures, stickers and business cards are powerful sales tools!

14. Always Up-Sell.
This is a key sales tip that really works. If your customer buys a certain fragrance; draw her attention to the complimentary body lotion. Has somebody ordered a necklace? Point out the matching earrings on the same page. Did your customer choose a skincare product for aging skin? Make sure she knows about the eyelift cream.
15. Make the AVON samples and demonstration products work for you.
Attach a sample on the page of the newest brochure where the item is listed with a paperclip. Encourage your customers to try the product. Buy a demonstration product and either use it yourself or give to a faithful customer to try.
16. Holidays and special days.
Remind your customer that holidays and special occasions tend to sneak up on us, and you have great gifts for just about anyone.
17. Don't Forget the Men!
We tend to forget about the guys - but even men have a shower! Yes there is a great men's range including aftershaves, skincare and haircare. But they also have daughters home from college, wives who love makeup and mothers who love to be treated to a thinking-of-you-mum gift. Men often do not know what to buy people for Christmas and Birthdays - make their shopping hassle free by showing the AVON book.
